The stop, from the word itself, is anywhere that the reel will stop. The reel can stop on the symbols or even between symbols, if the reel stops between symbols it is called "blanks". On a machine the number of stops will identify the number of losing and winning combinations.

I agree. Good example of your comment will be Red Bull BC One Physicx vs Lilou. Lilou has nice powermoves too but he makes the battle much more entertaining than physicx. When Physicx dances on the floor, people just enjoy his powermoves but when Lilou dances on the floor, people enjoy every second of his moves.
